The 2016 health and dental insurance open enrollment period has begun. All HPS staff should have received an email from Central Office which is copied below. While there have been no changes made to dental insurance premiums this year, health insurance premiums have once again risen, this time by 12.9% Adjustments will be made to payroll deductions effective May 27th.
Open Enrollment is the one time a year where you can make changes to your benefits. It is your opportunity to enroll in, cancel or change your health or dental plan, add or remove dependents, enroll in the life insurance and other voluntary benefits and enroll in the Flexible Spending Accounts (you must re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Accounts each year).
Key points to remember:
Open Enrollment will be held from May 11th – May 23rd
Health Fairs will be held on Tuesday, May 17th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Thursday, May 19th from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the 2nd floor Auditorium at City Hall.
In addition, Nina Torrisi, our new Benefits Specialist will be holding the following Open Enrollment meetings:
Monday, May 16th – 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the High School
Tuesday, May 17th – 3:30pm to 4:30 pm at Golden Hill
Wednesday, May 18th – 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Consentino
Thursday, May 19th – 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Bradford Elementary
Monday, May 23rd – 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Pentucket Lake

All changes are effective as of July 1st and the 2016/2017 deduction rates will be effective as of the May 27th paycheck.
