On Monday, December 3rd, 300 Haverhill Public Schools teachers and community members turned out to oppose the proposed Wildflower Montessori Charter School. Mayor Fiorentini and Superintendent Marotta also expressed their opposition in a pair of statements submitted and read to the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education who will ultimately vote on the proposal, should it be sent to them for consideration by Commissioner of Education Jeff Reilly.
