I apologize if there was any confusion regarding the previous message signed by Superintendent Marotta and me. While one of the primary reasons for agreeing that educators would have the option to work remotely on Wednesdays was to accommodate members with childcare issues, the language of the MOA does not stipulate that this option is exclusive to those members with childcare issues.
All members may choose to work remotely on Wednesdays, beginning tomorrow. Please inform your principal tonight if you are going to avail yourself of this option tomorrow. You do not need to give a reason for working remotely on Wednesdays.
