Sisters and Brothers,
As you’ve heard by now, the Consentino School is closed to students and instructional staff are working remotely until November 13th after a 6th building educator tested positive for the coronavirus today. While these were not the first cases in our district, they do represent the first known instances of trasmission inside our school buildings and are a cause of great concern. The HEA is continuing to monitor the situation at all Haverhill schools as part of the Joint Stakeholder Coronavirus Response Team and will continue to advocate for safe schools for all staff and students. The JSCRT meets on Thursdays at 6:00 pm. We will continue to keep you up-to-date with the latest information.
Until then, stay safe, everyone, and if you haven’t already, don’t forget to vote tomorrow!
In Solidarity,
Anthony
