This meeting is for MTA members only. You may feel free to share the above registration link with your fellow MTA members, but not beyond that audience. Only MTA members will be given meeting access.
DEADLINE: MUST REGISTER BY 12 Noon on Tuesday, Feb. 9
To give staff ample time to verify membership of participants and provide the necessary meeting access, the registration deadline is noon on Feb. 9. However, the meeting is subject to reaching its capacity limit prior to that time. Attendees will be approved in the order they are received.
Approved registrants will receive a confirmation email with unique meeting access. That email will be sent from: “MTA Governance <no-reply@zoom.us>.” Your confirmation will not be immediate. Please be on the lookout for your confirmation email, but be patient and do not register a second time; the approval process does take some time. Sometimes the Zoom-generated emails end up in SPAM folders, so please be sure to check that folder.
Your confirmation will contain your link to join the meeting. Do not forward to or share your meeting link with anyone else. Each attendee must register and then receive their unique meeting link. In addition, for security reasons, because these meetings are designed for MTA members only, phone dial-in will NOT be enabled for this meeting. You must join the meeting via the Zoom link provided in your confirmation email. You may join from a computer, smartphone, or tablet. From a PC or Mac, when clicking on your “Join” link, you will be prompted to download and install the Zoom app when joining your FIRST Zoom meeting on that device. For smartphones and tablets, please go to the App Store or Google Play to find and install the free “Zoom Cloud Meetings” App for your device prior to joining your first Zoom meeting on that device. If you have not used Zoom in the past, or have had difficulty doing so, we suggest you go to the following site for testing, at least one day prior to our meeting, on the device you plan to use: https://zoom.us/test.
It is highly advisable to update your Zoom client regularly. If you have not recently done so on the device you plan to use: For PCs/Mac computers, update by following this link: https://zoom.us/support/download. On a smart phone or tablet, you will be notified if there is an App update, and you can also check by going to the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) on your device.
