We have a tentative agreement!
After another marathon session lasting over 3 hours, we have reached an agreement in principle with the School Committee. The School Committee has already voted to approve of the terms of the agreement, and we are working on a final draft to memorialize the changes agreed to at the table.
As soon as the MOA is available we will share it with the membership ahead of a membership meeting to discuss and vote on the proposal. Details will be announced shortly.
Thank you so much to every member who joined the bargaining team to observe and participate in this important process. Your voices represented educators from every corner of this district and had a noticeable impact on how the School Committee responded to the concerns you raised. We are proud of this agreement and excited to share the details with you all soon.
